I wasn’t even attracted to her the first time I met her, at a show, with friends. She’s wholesome. A hippy, almost. We hung out and drank tea. Things felt warm, friendly, and platonic. Another night we got drunk and things were warm, friendly, and well, warm. Ok, nothing happened, really, I kissed her on my way out the door and didn’t think much of it since. I love that about drinking.

This one I met through friends as well but in a more roundabout way. She acts like she is just too cool for me and maybe she is. Is that why I want her so badly? She made a few subtle physical advances, but what was I to think? I think she just wants to be my friend, if even–we’ll see if she returns my email. She’s been on my mind all weekend.

Ironic, isn’t it–the way these attractions work? Presently, even my regular boy toy is off cavorting around this summer. So while I’m going out lots, having plenty of fun, I’m just not seeing the kind of action that I’m used to. Here’s to phone sex for keeping me satisfied with what I got.
